The Manager, Safety and Network Delivery is responsible for ensuring the safety of workers who work on cell towers, radio towers, transmission towers, and other tall structures. Their main job is to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that workers have the necessary training and equipment to work safely at heights.
•Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments of tower sites and equipment, identifying and correcting any hazards or safety issues.
•Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures for tower operations, including emergency response plans and safety training programs.
•Providing safety training to tower crews, including instruction on the proper use of safety equipment, fall protection systems, and other safety procedures.
•Monitoring the work of tower crews to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•Investigating and reporting any safety incidents or accidents that occur on tower sites, and developing plans to prevent future incidents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Min Master’s/Bachelor’s/Degree in Engineering and Telecommunications or related field
- Certification in relevant areas such as OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, or other safety-related programs
- Minimum 5 years experience in safety for tower operations
- Able to travel as when necessary
