Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) EMIA Service team is looking for an Implementation Consultant to join their team. This role will serve our customers across the EMIA region, offers flexibility, with limited travel required, and the option to work either from home or from one of the European PPM offices, preferably from Germany or the DACH region.
In this role you will regularly interact with customers, via remote or on site.
Works as part of an EMIA service team in the implementation, acceptance, and installation of our solutions at customer sites.- Implementation of the solution / customizing.
- Preparation and conducting of trainings and workshops.
- Technical Customer advisory service remote and on-site.
- System Analysis and Specifications.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exercise a sizeable degree of self-direction and decision making focused on delivering a solution to customer’s workflow implementation issues.
- Develops technical documents, instructions, and training for internal and external purposes.
- Keeps updated on current Hexagon PPM solution portfolio through training and sprint reviews.
- College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Process Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
- Engineer or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field with demonstrated technical problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in plant design or drafting with Intergraph Smart® 3D is an advantage but not Essential.
- Proficiency skills in understanding EPC and O&O Environments.
- Emphasis for hands-on experiences with customer facing activities and industrial understanding of customer needs.
- Proficiency within System Analysis und Project Engineering.
- Demonstrated proficiency with 3D CAD, CAE modelling.
- Basic proficiency with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
- Basic Programming know-how in Visual Basic, .Net, preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic in XML and WEB-Technology, preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Communicate via the telephone, email, online video and in person, employing excellent oral and written communication skills.
- English is required for local and global communication, an additional European language an advantage but not essential.
- Experience participating in consulting functions and services.
- Customer Service experience and ability.
- Highly developed skills, knowledge, and ability in the relevant technological environment.
- Fluency in the basic technologies underlying the IT industry.
